In order to properly asses whether you are being underpaid or not, I need to know some more information about your situation: (1) What state are you in?; and (2) How many years of experience do you have?.
These two variables are especially important considering that wages and cost of living vary from state to state and with years of experience.
I recommend using our Salary Calculator and find out. Look under “management occupations” for the position that most accurately describes your particular responsibilities. Then, select the state in which you work.
Using the Salary Calculator, you may also compare and contrast the potential earnings opportunities you might have with positions available to you so that you may make a more informed decision. I hope this helps!
